Obituary

Ronald H. Cowley, 74 of McHenry, died peacefully, February 16, 2018, with his family by his side.
Visitation will be Monday from 4-6:30 with a service at 6:30pm all at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to American Lung Association.
Ronald was born March 21, 1943 the son of Earl and Valerie Cowley. He worked as an auto mechanic and enjoyed tinkering with lots of different things. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a devoted father and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, John (Carol) Cowley, and Carolyn (Keith) Baremore and by his 4 grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel, Jonathan and Katherine and also by his brother, Jim (Dolly) Cowley and by his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

I will always remember when our families would get together I will remember camping and campfires and how we would extinguish the coals after the ladies went to bed I remember fishing on Lake Michigan and I will remember how my uncle would help complete strangers stranded on the roadside rest in peace chief
