Thomas “Corky” Persak, 79 of Huntley, died peacefully, March 8, 2018
A time of visiting will be on March 15, 2018 Thursday from 3-7pm with a time of sharing at 7pm all at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Wounded Warriors.
Thomas was born January 24, 1939 in Chicago, the son of Thomas and Stella Persak. He served in the United States Airforce. On March 6, 1959 he married Marlene Wyzykowski. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing and guns. Corky was a devoted husband, father and great grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene, his three daughters, Tammy Parker, Terry Dwyer, Tracey Iversen, by his grandchildren, Brian (Sarah), Erin (Miles), Jacklyn, (Ramon),Caitlin (Michael), Anne and Jimmy, by his great grandchildren, Miles, Tyler, Madeline, Amelia and Arielle and also by his brother, Robert (Beth) Persak and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Jean Norton.

Tom was such a nice guy. I had the pleasure of working with him for many years at Enterprise Cos. and then Valspar. Whenever I had occasion to run a TEST batch for a new product in the plant, he always did his best to assist me so it got done ok. WILL MISS YOU MY FRIEND!
