Tom was such a nice guy. I had the pleasure of working with him for many years at Enterprise Cos. and then Valspar. Whenever I had occasion to run a TEST batch for a new product in the plant, he always did his best to assist me so it got done ok. WILL MISS YOU MY FRIEND!

I was listening An exterior of steel, a tender heart encased Although you seldom said it Dad, in your deeds your love did shine Driving me back and forth to Sunday School Showing me how to bait that fishing hook The hand that held my bicycle seat, as I learned to ride And when the time came to learn to drive, in your fiat I did fly All the times that I have fallen, smack down, hard, to my knees You were always there, dear Dad, to lift me and send me on my way again You taught me tough life lessons, all which I am grateful for Come, when you are called, as you are needed here Fix what is broken, so you will have no regrets Fear not hard work, so you will learn your worth Respect and love your mother, as her comfort I embrace If you fail I will judge you not, I will have your hand to hold The toughest strength is tenderness, for those whose hearts we hold So thank you Dad, I was listening, from these lessons I have learned You said that you were done, ready to leave this place behind Those words, so painful to hear, as I did not want for you to leave I am so grateful we were with you Dad, that you were not alone In the arms of an angel, you were lifted from this earth From the heavens you watch over us, pain and sadness gone For all eternity, peace and joy prevail For today I choose to see you, Dad In the warmth of the shining sun The tall and steady pines On the glistening lake and river waters And on the wings of hummingbirds
