Liz was such an important part of the D102 family. I am so sorry to hear of her of her illness and her passing. My most sincere condolences.

At A-T, Liz was always steadfast and totally professional, yet with a wonderfully warm and witty demeanor. As this was my first elementary school principalship, Liz was most generous in assisting me to understand the community, the “players,” the school board, and the myriad of details expected of me. She was a warm friend to my family. Her legacy, I suspect, lives on in the history of the school district, as those late seventies were a time of profound transitions at A-T., and she was a rock.

There are so many memories running through my head right now! Liz was a wonderful friend. We shared such good times, such special memories. She had a heart of gold, was so caring and kind. It was always fun to pull a prank with her or simply prank her. She always had a smile and a kind word or if you needed to talk, she was there for you. I will miss her tremendously.

Liz was the most loving and caring matriarch of D102. She was an overseer in the expansion of the administration and physical size of our district. Liz was not only committed to assisting administrators with each new growth phase, accommodating teacher needs, and orchestrating safe bus routes for the children, she was genuine and truly cared about people as individuals. As you join the other angels, rest in peace Liz.

My condolences to Liz’s family. She will be missed. I worked with Liz at District 102 and we shared many laughs and good times. We always enjoy sharing our stories of going to Vegas or going to Wisconsin where they would parade the beef down the street. Still brings a smile to my face.

My sincere prayers and condolences to Dennis & family in the passing of Liz. What a wonderful and happy person she was; always smiling and always kind. Among other things, we always enjoyed 'shopping conversations' and discussing the best malls to visit! Liz was such a dear person and will be sorely missed, but always fondly remembered. May she be forever at peace.
