Shannon called at least twice a month. I can hear " Hi Libby".. She asked about every one in our family including each dog. Sometimes she would call ,say she was in the hospital and tell me she was scared. We would talk, then, until she was ready to hang up. I always knew when that was because the subject would change to " Well Libby, how's Jim your husband and how's Mack your son..so on until every one was inquired after. Then she would always say " goodnite,Libby. I love you". I always told her that I loved her too. And, I did..I do. I loved Shannon,I told her every time we spoke and I am so glad that I did. I will miss her sweet, cheery voice on the other end of the phone. Rosemary , Tom and family ..our deepest condolences. You provided so much love and a wonderful life for Shannon. She was a loved and lucky girl.

To my Shan-Shan, Your were my GPS, always able to tell me where to go. You were my protector, always eager to stand up for me. Your were my hug when I needed it most. You were and will always be my favorite girlfriend who had a deep love for animals and babies. Your sweet, kind and giving heart was so full of love. I miss you so much already. A piece of me left when you passed away. The ladies and staff at Franklin Park miss you too, but we know that you are in a better place. I find comfort knowing you are with our Lord and Savior...and you're probably having tons of fun playing on his iPhone! I will always love you girlfriend. To Shannon's family, Thanks for allowing me, the staff and residents of Franklin Park to be a part of Shannon's life. She was truly a special gift from God. Our prayers are with you during this time of sorrow. We will continue to pray for you all and hold you close to our hearts. With love , Pam Turner
