Margaret R. Perrone, 87 of Pingree Grove, passed away at her home on Wednesday morning, April 18, 2018.
She was born September 16, 1930 in Chicago, the daughter of Michael and Rose (Marinello) Padula. She grew up on the west side of Chicago and on September 8, 1951 she was united in marriage to James L. Perrone, Jr. The couple made their home in Chicago until moving to Des Plaines where they raised their family. In 1988 they moved to Crystal Lake and to Pingree Grove in 2011. She especially enjoyed time with her family, cooking and traveling.
She is survived by her children, James M. (Robin) Perrone of Geneva, Cathy (Franklin) Bradley of Hawthorne Woods, Michael J. (Kathleen) Perrone of Bonita Springs, Florida, John (Cindy) Perrone of Crystal Lake and Thomas Perrone of Pingree Grove; her grandchildren, Rachel, Lauren, Kristin, James and Margaret (Maggie); her great-grandchildren, Jesse and Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, her brothers, Rocco, Anthony, William and Eugene and her sister, Marilyn.
Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. and the Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 27th at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley.
