Craig D. Lambertson, 48 of Pingree Grove, passed away at his home on Saturday afternoon, May 19, 2018 following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born September 19, 1969 in Hillsdale, Michigan the son of Donald R. and Rachel K. (Kratzer) Lambertson. He was raised and educated in Hillsdale, graduating from Hillsdale High school in 1988. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Western University in Kalamazoo, Michigan and then moved to Chicago. In 1995 he started in the accounting field with Kemper Insurance, which was later Zurich and currently Protective Life Insurance Company. He was an avid Cubs fan, enjoyed playing golf, watching sports and especially enjoyed the Michigan Wolverines, Pittsburgh Steelers and the Detroit Tigers.
Craig is survived by his wife, Stacy of Pingree Grove, his father, Donald (Donna) Lambertson of North Adams, Michigan, his mother, Rachel (David) Neeley of Fremont, Indiana, his sister, Sandra Butz of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, nephew, Mason Cole and his nieces, Sara Cole, Jenna Cole, Ava Butz and Allison Butz. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wendell J. and Esther C. Kratzer and his paternal grandparents, Donald F. and Barbara J. Lambertson.
