Jack Ronald Carollo, 76 of Huntley, died peacefully June 8, 2018.
Jack was born March 26, 1942 the son of Tony and Nancy Carollo. He proudly served in the United States Army as a Captain, during the Viet Nam war. He earned his master’s degree from Loyola University and later became a professor who thoroughly enjoyed teaching all of his students while continuing to expand his own extensive collection of books. Jack lived his life to the fullest and even as a child had a deep connection with reading many different kinds of books from history to science fiction.
He is survived by his dear wife, Wilma, his sons, Kevin, Keith (Chris) and step son Big Keith. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 9-10am at St. Mary Catholic Church, with a funeral Mass at 10am- 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
