Am thankful that David is finally at peace. I know he fought a long and hard battle with ALS. When I think of him I remember the time I was taking his sister Kathy up to Watertown to spend a few days. Nothing doing, but he had to come too. Becky and I were both doubtful that he would get far from home before he would start crying. I drove around in Harvard for a while and then headed home. It was a wonderful two days for me and I hope it was for them. We fed the ducks at the park and went to the zoo in Milwaukee. David ran from the ducks until he realized all they wanted was the bread and if he moved at them, they would scamper away. Other great memories too. Glad you are at peace. Thoughts and prayers with Becky, Dale, and Kathy and all the family.

It is with deep sorrow that I send this remembrance. It was many years ago that I first saw David's smile in my kindergarten class. Please know that I am keeping your family in my prayers during these difficult days.
