Diane P. Ortega, 73, of Huntley, passed away, May 14, 2017 at her home with her family by her side.
Visitation will be on Thursday May 18, from 4-8pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley, and visitation Friday, May 19, from 9-10am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road followed by Mass.
Diane was born April 29, 1944 the daughter of Harry Jordan and Phyllis Wyonna Hovey. Diane and Joseph were married for 55 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph, her children, Maria (Ed) Wasilik, Laura Ortega, Joe (Monica) Ortega and Julie (Peter) Kralis and by her 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and also by her sister, Jamie (Bob) Rauch and brother, John Preble. Diane is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Harry, Donald Lee, Harry Hoyt, Jr. and David Allen.
