Georgia Galanis, 67, of Lake in Hills, died, May 25, 2017 with her family by her side.
Private family services were held at St. Michael the Arch Angel Cemetery.
Georgia was born September 5, 1949 in Rezas, Greece. She married George Galanis on April 20, 1969 at St. George Church in Chicago. She was a devoted wife, mother and yia-yia. Georgia will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, George Galanis and her children, Doris (Aldo) Otero, Vicky (Russ) Rigby and Cary (Cheryl) Galanis and she was the loving yia-yia of her seven grandchildren.
