Epifania Maria Farrar, 63 of Huntley, died peacefully, July 15, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home and a Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Huntley Cemetery.
Epifania was born January 13, 1954 in Mexico, the daughter of Jose and Felicia Rangel. She was the oldest of 11 children. On September 3, 1973 she married Michael Farrar. For many years she worked in a factory and later became a beautician. She was beautiful on the inside as well as the out. She was devoted to our Lord and took great delight in reading the bible and sharing the message with all who knew her. Her greatest joy was her family. Epifania was a loving , and devoted, wife, mother and grandmother. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Mike, her mother, Felicia Rangel and by her children, Michael, Jr. (Michelle) Farrar, Matthew Farrar, Michelle Farrar (Jordan Huff), Jennifer Farrar and by Christine (Christopher) Sumner and by her 9 grandchildren, Gabriella, Gia, Donte, Brandon, Brianna, Michael III, Hunter, Kimari and Liam. Epifania was also survived by her Goddaughter, Samantha and by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father and by her daughter, Catherine.

My beautiful angel godmother, may you rest in paradise. I am so happy I was able to reunite with her within the past few years. ❤️She is absolutely one of the strongest women I have known!
