Charles “Chuck” Todd, 57 of Florida, formerly of Marengo, died, September 4, 2017 in Florida.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home -10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00am on Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
Charles was born June 15, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Richard and Eleanor Todd. On November 20, 1988 he married Nanette Calistro. He was an avid Cub and Blackhawk fan. He was passionate about craft beer, politics, Dodge cars and country music. His greatest joys in life were his wife, children and grandchildren. Chuck always liked to pay things forward, he was kind and giving to all he met. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.
Charles is survived by his wife, Nanette, his children, Matthew (Monserrat) Todd, David (Kassandra Gomez) Todd, and Samantha (Gary Shogren) Todd and by his grandchildren, Addison and Gionni. He is survived by his mother, Eleanor Smith, his brother, Robert (Mary) Todd and sister, Sharon (Gary) Grandquist. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard.
