Never have we known a more kinder and sweeter man who loved the Lord, his wife Rosemary, children and grandchildren. Growing and having this family as our neighbors in Houston was a blessing. I still remember all the fun family outings filled with fun and laughter. We will miss you Jerry, always in our hearts, never forgotten.

Jerry was a great guy, a friendly neighbor who lived cross the street from us (Ginny and I) for years and years. We knew him and Rosemary well, and the kids too. I still remember him and his working on Volkswagen Beetles, he loved them. He helped me find Sedona as he was here once and when he came home he told me what a beautiful place it was. My wife and I determined then to come visit here, we did and eventually retired her. Sorry to learn of his passing. Bill Eich

Jerry, and kids, your loss of a father and grandfather can only be softened by the memories of loving, fun times together. Irene I know it's difficult losing a dear father-in-law when you lost your own dad so long ago. You are in our thoughts.

Our deepest sympathies and condolences to Aunt Rosemary, Cousins Denise, Carolyn, Jerry, Ann and their families. We'll always remember (as do many others) Uncle Jerry as such a good natured, funny man so proud of his family. But, beyond that, at least for me, was his and Aunt Rosemary's remarkable inner strength and resiliency throughout their long lives. He and she are truly inspirational. God bless.

We are saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. We have great memories of our times together and friendship as neighbors in Arlington Heights. We considered Rosemary and Jerry lifelong friends even though we did not see them often in the last few years. We were especially close because our son Doug and their son John were best buds and John was like a second son to us. Jerry was a wonderful husband, father and friend and a man of faith. We know he will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. It was a privilege to know him and count him as a friend. Rose and Jim

One of my fondest memories of Jerry is when he sang at my wedding reception. ( I think it was "Somebody Stole My Gall"!) John sang at the wedding and Jerry sang at the reception. What a joyful reunion they are having in heaven right now. My love and prayers to all of you...

Jerry was a wonderful man and was a very close friend of my husband, Bob. Our families shared many good times over the years at American Can Company and throughout retirement. Jerry seemed always to be smiling. We will miss him greatly.

I was so surprised and saddened to hear your sweet father passed away suddenly at Bickford. I would see your dad nearly every evening while visiting my mother Marion, a few doors away from his room. I would watch him walk down the hall to visit your mom and just wanted to give him a hug. I wish i had. I am glad i took the time to always give him a smile and say "Hi Jerry!" We shared a few games of "Hangman". He is now in a better place which will hopefully comfort the family who must miss him terribly. He has left a void at Bickford as Jerry stood out as a very special resident. My condolences to all of you!
