Jeannie Kazluski, 74 of Sun City, Huntley, passed away on Saturday morning, September 30, 2017 at JourneyCare Hospice in Woodstock.
She was born July 25, 1943 in Chicago, the daughter of John and Vivian (Babcock) Fitzpatrick. She grew up and was educated in Chicago. On January 4, 1969 she was united in marriage to Norman K. Kazluski. The couple made their home in Chicago where they raised their family and Jeannie worked as the director of various preschools and as a pediatric nurse. In retirement she enjoyed painting and drawing and was active in the Arts Club at Sun City.
She is survived by her children, Keith (Sarah) Kazluski of Poplar Grove and Jennifer Sciascia of Huntley, her grandchildren, Isabella, Katrina and Salvatore, her sister, Kathleen (Robert) Loll of South Carolina and her brothers, John (Mary) Fitzpatrick and Jim (Ingrid) Fitzpatrick both of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman in 2015.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6th at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 7th and the family will greet friends after 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley.
