Richard “Rich” Stransky, 82 of Huntley, formerly of Glen Ellyn, died, October 1, 2017
Beloved husband of 58 years to Helen (nee Smunt), loving father of Sherry (Leigh) Roadman, Rich (Jennifer) Stransky, Scott (Laura) Stransky and Duane (Erin) Stransky. Cherished grandpa of Stephanie (Jerry) Lange, Jeffrey, Ryan, Collin, Danny, Brooke, Jess, Jake, Nick and Sabrina. Proud great grandfather of Sadie. Loving son of the late Frank and Mae Stransky.
Rich served in the United States Army. He loved watching his kids and grandkids participate in sports. He was active in Glen Ellyn youth baseball. Rich enjoyed fishing and was a dog lover. Oscar (the wiener dog) will miss him and we will miss him. Services were private.
