Wigo R. Juergensen, 84 of the village of Lakewood, died peacefully, October 4, 2017
Visitation will be on Sunday from 4-7pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00am on Monday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church in Crystal Lake, IL. Burial will be in Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
Wigo was born October 31, 1932 in Chicago, the son of Ernest and Hertha Juergensen. On October 13, 1962 he married Anne Krosnicki. He was a Certified Public Accountant and was a partner with Peat, Marwick & Mitchell Accounting firm. He enjoyed golfing and playing pinochle. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Anne of 55 years, his children, John (Tina) Juergensen, Connie (Mark) Schutte, Eric (Beth) Juergensen, Linda Ryan, Richard (Melissa) Juergensen, by his 13 grandchildren, Christopher, Ben, Joe, Abby, Zack, Josh, Matthew, Jackie, Brett, Lyndsay, Chad, Amanda and Megan. He is preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, John.
