Raffaele “Ralph” Nisi, 75 of Huntley, formerly of Elk Grove Village, died peacefully, December 5, 2017 with his family by his side.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 3-7pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home- 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00am on Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Wounded Warriors or Alzheimer’s Association.
Ralph was born October 7, 1942 in Cosenza, Italy the son of Adorante and Orsolina Nisi. He served in the United States Army. On May 20, 1967 he married Linda Carollo. For 38 years he worked as a machinist for the Mars Candy Co. He enjoyed tennis, bowling, cars, and sports. Ralph was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, children, Gina (Brian) Roper, David (Carey) Nisi, and Michael (Erin) Nisi, his six grandchildren, Walker, Zachary, Mia, Emma , Ava and Sofia. He is also survived by his brothers, Tony, Albert and Enzo Nisi.
