Obituary

Theodore “Ted” Sulaski, a Korean War Veteran, was born June 29, 1930 and passed to the big casino on Friday, January 12, 2018. Ted married the love of his life and dance partner, Marianne “Mimi” Lyskawa on November 3, 1951.

They raised four children, Mary Jo (Michael) Bryant of Ocala, Florida, Sue Ann (Robert) Boyle of Crystal Lake, Ted Sulaski of Huntley, and Paul (Denise) Sulaski of Birmingham, Alabama. Ted’s greatest love and joy were his cherished grandchildren, Jennifer (James) White, Matthew (Christene) Bryant, Robert Boyle, Christine Boyle, Bethany (Daniel Vecchiolla) Boyle, Tony Sulaski, Danielle Sulaski and Landen Sulaski and his great-grandchildren, Aiden, Ryan, Nathan, Isabella, Evelyn, Landyn and Lena his pet dog. They all will miss sharing puzzles, card games and listening to “Pops” country tunes while riding in his car.

Ted was an avid athlete, a softball pitcher and a bowling champ. He was an avid Chicago sports fan. Ted took pride in his garden. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and values: Give unconditional love to family, especially the children, work hard, treat everyone with dignity, especially those in need. These values will live through his children and passed to his grandchildren. He was a good, kind and gentle man. Ted was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
