Cheryl C. Ellison, 73 of Cary, died, peacefully at her home on February 6, 2018

Cheryl was born November 28, 1944 the daughter of Robert and Cynthia Pfaff. She worked as a flight attendant for United Airlines until her retirement. Cheryl loved all animals, gardening and crafting. Her greatest joy were her five grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Courtney (Ken) Peters, and Christine (L.B.) Ellison and by her five grandchildren, Alexis, Avery, Sydney, Logan and Wren and is also survived by her brother, Bob and sisters, Cindy and Susie. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother, William.

I enjoyed working with Cherie for years at United. She talked about her two girls constantly. She always made me laugh. She had the best sense of humor.Many fond memories. So sorry for your loss.
So sorry for your loss. I flew with Cherie so many times overthe years. Great stories great layovers. Ran accross a layover picture just the other day. She is remembered and missed.

I am so sad. I loved that girl. We were only months apart in seniority. Not only did we have a fun filled adventure in Aculpoco when we were in our early twenties, but we flew together often. I most admired her for her “Purser skills”. I learned so much from her both when we flew together and when she practically ran the Purser program by herself. She gave such good direction and helped us all through a new program. We tried to stay in touch, but I noticed it got more and more difficult the past year or two. When I finally retired after 50 years ( e years ago), we had our taxes done on the same day so we could have lunch and catch up. Her family , daughters, And grandchildren were always the topic of conversation. I really thought she and I had time. What a mistake that was. Girls, I really liked your mom so much and I am very sad riight now. My phone is 262-203-0151 and I live in Lake Geneva. I really want to hear what happened. I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Always enjoyed her sharing her latest craft project when we were neighbors. She was a talented lady. I spoke with her several times after I moved back to Cary from Tucson and our conversations always included her girls and grandchildren. She was so proud of you.
i had the priviledge of flying w/ Cheryl many times during my 40 yr. career w/ UAL, & she was a joy 2 work with. very professional, yet great sense of humor & work ethic----always a good time! we had the best job going & we made many friends along the way---rest in peace my dear---you will be missed. love, KK
Cheryl was my closest friend our senior year of high school. She was darling, had so much energy, and was always thinking up great ideas for fun. We traded clothes, cut each others hair, shared confidences and were "there" for each other. She will always have a special place in my heart and I will always remember her dearly and with love. In time your grief will ease and she would want you to remember her undaunted spirit and the deep love and pride she felt for her cherished family.
