Obituary

John F. Shemroske, 94. of Huntley, died peacefully, April 3, 2024 with his family by his side.
John was born July 9, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois - the son of John and Agnes (Cynowa) Shemroske. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. He worked in sales. John was an avid fisherman. He owned and raced horses and was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grand father who will be missed by all who knew him.
John is survived by his children, Jack (Susan) Shemroske, Anne (Dion) Waters, Gary (Regine) Shemroske, James (Lisa) Shemroske and Mary (Mike) Reynolds. 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. sister-in-law, Marie Shemroske and Jean Bywalec.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene, and his siblings: LeRoy and Eleanor.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1pm on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at St. Matthews Catholic Church-1005 E. Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg, Illinois. In lieu of flowers and memorials, please say a prayer for the Chicago Cubs.

Me and John hung out often in our days at Desks Inc. He was a great salesman and taught me how to sell like him. I am sorry he is not with us anymore, but he had a terrific life and loved his family.
