Jean Marie Kropke, 81 of Huntley, died peacefully August 11, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 12 Noon until the 2:00pm Memorial service all held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Union, Illinois.
Jean was born August 9, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of George and Victoria Schupolsky. In 1955, she married Raymond Kropke. Jean enjoyed woodworking, reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Steven (Tina) Kropke, Debra (Tom) Kreml, Patti (Jim) Zieman, Raymond Kropke and Paul (Kim) Kropke. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, by her husband and by her sisters, Ruth, Edna and Jan.
