Obituary

Daniel Antonovich, 79 of Sun City, Huntley, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 26, 2017 following a lengthy illness.

He was born July 23, 1938 in Bellwood, Illinois, the son of Steven and Ann (Norantic) Antonovich. He was united in marriage to Ruby J. Malovich on September 27, 1980 in Chicago. He was a retired firefighter for the Bellwood Fire Department and had owned and operated D & M Masonry, Inc. in Batavia. Daniel loved to fish and had a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby of Huntley, his daughters, Denise (Steve) Antonovich-Graham of LaGrange Park and Danette (Mike) Moffatt of Batavia, his step-son, Rudy “Dude” (Nicole) Vorkapic of New Orleans, his grandchildren, Frank Mattio, Anthony Gargano, Brandon and Michael Moffatt, Jenna, Irene and Saya Vorkapic, Alyssa and Michael Vorkapic, his sister, Mary Heinz of Elmhurst and his brother, Joey Antonovich of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Mike and John “Yosh” Antonovich and his sister, Mitzi Graham.
